04 Jul Aerocare International Ltd Deliver the First Stage of a Major Aircraft Acquisition for the Air Force of Pakistan
Aerocare International Ltd (AI) has recently completed the first stage of a major aircraft acquisition for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), specifically the reconstitution of a new Air Mobility Fleet, with Beechcraft King Air 350i platforms to replace their ageing platforms.
The project marks the culmination of AI’s move to a more diversified portfolio of activity. The company continues to manufacture world leading solutions for civil airline interiors, including seating solutions, galleys, lavatories and IFE solutions, in addition to being a component level manufacturer for OEMs.
But the coronavirus pandemic has also seen a shift into systems manufacture for defence companies making anti-drone solutions, R&D engineering services for technology companies such as Biocare UV Ltd, and latterly turnkey solutions for military programmes.
The PAF programme requires the acquisition of suitable platforms on the secondary market, transfer to PAF registration with ferry flights to country, pilot and engineer training packages, in-country training and support elements, and initial and ongoing spares and support programmes.
PAF has a stated aspiration to achieve excellence and with this acquisition they have moved to a world leading platform for passenger and VIP operations. The programme has been delivered in under 5 months from contract signature to in-service operations of the first two aircraft, no small part being played by an agile, adaptable and efficient staff at PAF Air Headquarters.
